Suicide in construction and within manual labour is not often spoken about. Unfortunately, this is not because it does not take place. Suicides within manual labour have increased by more than 50% since 2015. Went from 48 per 100,000 in 2015 to 73 per 100,000 in 2019. However, the rate for non-manual workers, such as managers, fell from Seven per 100,000 to just under Five.
